Two Arrested for Murder of Colby Sheppard

The remains of 27-year-old Colby Sheppard were discovered in the cellar of a home in Enid, Oklahoma, on August 27, leading to two men being charged with first-degree murder. Sheppard was reported missing on January 4, 2024, and is believed to have been killed in retaliation for his rumored involvement in the disappearance of Kendra Battelo, who has been missing since July 2022. The suspects, Victor Battelo (45) and Charles Jordan (55), were already in custody on unrelated charges when they were booked for murder. While detectives have uncovered evidence suggesting a connection between Sheppard's death and Battelo's disappearance, they have not found definitive proof to support these claims.
