CBI Arrests Bhilwara Student in NEET Leak

The CBI has arrested Sandeep Kumar Bishnoi, a first-year MBBS student from Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Medical College in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, in connection with the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak case. He is accused of being part of a solver gang that allegedly solved the NEET question paper in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, before the May 5 exam. This arrest marks him as the eighth medical student apprehended in the ongoing investigation, which has already seen seven other students from various medical colleges arrested. The CBI has been granted a five-day remand for further questioning, while the investigation continues to focus on the alleged mastermind, Sanjeev Mukhiya, and his connections with other criminal networks. The incident has sparked concern within the college administration, prompting internal investigations. Amid protests and scrutiny of the NTA’s practices, the CBI aims to uncover the full extent of the paper leak conspiracy.
