Vitello to Join MLB Draft Coverage July 14
The 2024 MLB Draft, starting on July 14, is set to feature top prospects from various universities, with Florida State (FSU) and Tennessee leading the pack. FSU could see up to six players drafted, including potential top-15 picks James Tibbs III and Cam Smith. Tennessee, under coach Tony Vitello, might surpass its 2022 success with up to six top-75 prospects, including Christian Moore and Billy Amick. Additionally, Tony Vitello will join MLB Network's draft coverage as an analyst. San Diego's top prospects, Ryan Forcucci and Jakob Christian, are also in the spotlight despite some uncertainties. Arizona's coach Chip Hale hopes his rising stars will stay in college to further develop.
