Actor James Murray, known for his role in Netflix's The Crown, shared a poignant tribute to his late daughter Ella-Jayne on Alan Titchmarsh's ITV show, Love Your Weekend. Ella-Jayne passed away in 2009 at eight months old from a congenital heart defect. In response to their loss, Murray and his wife Sarah Parish established the Murray Parish Trust, which has since raised approximately £5 million for paediatric emergency care in southern England, particularly benefiting Southampton Children's Hospital. The couple also spent time volunteering at an orphanage in Cambodia following their daughter's death. Both Murray and Titchmarsh were visibly emotional during the interview, highlighting the profound impact of the charity's work.
