Massive Fire Erupts at Fuel Depot in Rostov

A significant fire at the Proletarsk oil storage facility in Russia's Rostov region continues to burn, now on its fourth day, following a Ukrainian drone attack. Over 500 firefighters are battling the blaze, which has engulfed about 20 of the facility's 74 storage tanks. The Russian Orthodox Church has sent priests to pray for the health of the firefighters, while local authorities have declared a state of emergency. At least 42 firefighters have been injured, with some requiring emergency care, amidst reports of inadequate firefighting equipment. Ukrainian forces have also reportedly targeted a nearby S-300 air defense system as part of their ongoing operations against Russian infrastructure. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has previously praised attacks on Russian oil facilities as crucial to weakening the invaders' capabilities.
