Dada Morero Nominated New Johannesburg Mayor

The African National Congress (ANC) has nominated Dada Morero as the new mayoral candidate for Johannesburg following the resignation of Kabelo Gwamanda amid criticisms of his leadership and service delivery failures. Morero, currently the Finance MMC, is the sole candidate put forward by the ANC and is expected to be elected at a special council meeting scheduled for Friday.
