Matthew Rhys Joins Netflix's The Beast In Me

Matthew Rhys has been cast alongside Claire Danes in Netflix's upcoming mystery thriller limited series, 'The Beast In Me'. The series, created by Gabe Rotter and showrun by Howard Gordon, follows acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs (Danes), who struggles to write following her son's tragic death. She becomes intrigued by her neighbor, Nile Sheldon (Rhys), a real estate mogul once suspected in his wife's disappearance, leading to a dangerous cat-and-mouse chase. Rhys is an Emmy Award-winning actor, known for roles in 'The Americans' and 'Perry Mason', and will next portray comedian George Carlin in 'Saturday Night'. The project is also executive produced by notable figures including Jodie Foster and Conan O'Brien, with additional writing by Daniel Pearle. 'The Beast In Me' is expected to explore themes of personal demons and obsession.
