Sauber Reveals Stake F1 Team Name for 2024 Season

Sauber have announced that their official team name for the 2024 and 2025 F1 seasons will be Stake F1 Team, following the end of their partnership with Alfa Romeo. The team had initially added 'Kick' to their name following the departure of Alfa Romeo, perhaps hinting at a partnership with the shoe brand, however this was short-lived. The team's representative, Alessandro Alunni Bravi, announced that the Stake partnership had begun in 2023 and represented an exciting development for the team, while co-founder of Stake, Edward Craven, shared his excitement for the partnership and the team's passion for speed and innovation. The team will launch their 2024 season in London on February 5, and are expected to retain their driver line-up of Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu. However, with Audi set to merge with the team in 2026, it remains to be seen who will be retained for the new era.
