Delhi University Sets Admission Schedule for 2024-25

Delhi University has announced the schedule for the 2024-25 student union elections, set for September 27, with nominations opening on September 17 and vote counting on September 28. Concurrently, the university has outlined the timeline for undergraduate admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), including an upgrade window from August 31 to September 1, and a mid-entry process for late applicants from September 7 to 9. Results from the upgraded allocations will be announced on September 3, while the third admission round will depend on seat availability, with results expected on September 11. As of now, over 75,000 admissions have been completed, exceeding the number of available seats. Students are advised to review the vacant seat matrix carefully for their preferences, as changes will be allowed during the mid-entry period. The elections reflect a competitive political landscape, previously dominated by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and the National Students' Union of India.
