Reliance Jio has increased the prices of its prepaid recharge plans that offer complimentary Netflix subscriptions by Rs 200 to Rs 300, following a broader hike in mobile tariffs across different plan categories. The new rates, now live on the Jio website and app, include the Rs 1,299 plan offering Netflix Mobile and the Rs 1,799 plan offering Netflix Basic, both with 84-day validity and 2GB/3GB daily data respectively. Additionally, Jio has introduced a new Rs 448 plan that bundles 13 OTT platform subscriptions and unlimited 5G access. Despite these hikes, Jio continues to offer competitively priced plans with robust features including unlimited calling, SMS, and access to various Jio services. The rise in tariffs reflects a broader trend among major telecom operators to increase prices after a long period of stability.
