KIIT Deemed to be University Students Qualify for Paris Olympics 2024

Twelve students from KIIT Deemed to be University in Bhubaneswar have qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024, marking a significant achievement as they form the largest contingent among Indian universities. The Founder, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, announced a cash reward of Rs 7 lakh for each athlete to support and encourage their performance at the upcoming games. These athletes, excelling in various disciplines like Men’s Hockey, Javelin Throw, and Relay Races, were celebrated at a special program in Bhubaneswar, with all participants currently training in Europe. KIIT & KISS, under Dr. Samanta's leadership, has a strong history of producing Olympians and Paralympians, with a total of 22 athletes representing India in various Olympic events. This achievement highlights KIIT's dedication to sports excellence and its commitment to nurturing talent for international competitions.
