Nani's latest film 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram', directed by Vivek Athreya, has had a strong opening, garnering Rs 8.75 crore on its debut day. The film saw a high occupancy rate in Telugu-speaking regions, particularly in Hyderabad and Guntur, though it had mixed performances in other languages such as Tamil and Malayalam. Nani's portrayal of Surya, a man with anger issues that manifest only on Saturdays, has been well-received, alongside SJ Suryah's praised role as the antagonist. Despite the film's regional success, Nani emphasizes not viewing it as a pan-India project. Concurrently, a sequel to the 2021 Malayalam hit 'Ajagajantharam' has been confirmed, with Tinu Pappachan returning as director and featuring original cast members like Antony Varghese.
