UN Urges UK to Address Racist Hate Speech

CERD emphasized the urgency of investigating hate crimes, prosecuting offenders, and establishing mechanisms to address racial profiling and excessive force by law enforcement. The report also noted troubling trends in institutional racism, particularly affecting children of color in schools. The UK government has yet to respond to the committee's recommendations.
