Karthi's Film Meiyazhagan Audio Launch Scheduled

Vikky Varun makes his directorial debut with 'Kaalapatthar', set for release on September 13, featuring a unique story about Kashibai Mallappa Desai, the first Indian Rolls Royce owner, who defied authorities to use her car for drying cow dung cakes. The film is produced by Nagaraju Billinakote and Bhuvan Suresh and was filmed in various locations across Karnataka. Meanwhile, Karthi stars in 'Meiyazhagan', a rural drama directed by Prem Kumar, set to release on September 27, where he plays a fan of cricket captain MS Dhoni, with the audio launch scheduled for August 31. The film, produced by Suriya and Jyothika, features a notable cast including Arvind Swamy and Sri Divya, and reunites the director with music composer Govind Vasantha. Both films are highly anticipated, with Karthi also involved in upcoming projects like 'Sardar 2' and 'Vaa Vaathiyaare'.
