Vedaa Film Endures Poor Box Office Performance

The action thriller 'Vedaa', starring John Abraham and Sharvari, has concluded its global run with disappointing earnings of approximately Rs 30 crore, significantly overshadowed by the success of 'Stree 2'. Released on Independence Day, 'Vedaa' opened with moderate success but quickly faltered, earning only Rs 22 crore net in India and around USD 400k internationally. The film's performance suffered due to stiff competition from both 'Stree 2' and 'Khel Khel Mein', with the latter also underperforming despite a stronger opening day. 'Vedaa' was expected to gain traction after its initial release, but it failed to build momentum and has now been declared a flop. John Abraham, who recently starred in the blockbuster 'Pathaan', faces a significant downturn with this film, marking a stark contrast to his previous success. Despite the poor box office results, both leads have upcoming projects to look forward to.
