Noida to Delhi DND flyover

The Noida Traffic Police announced a closure of the Noida-Delhi side of the DND Flyway for six hours from 11 PM on Saturday to 5 AM on Sunday to facilitate construction work on the six-lane DND–Faridabad–KMP Expressway, part of the Bharatmala project. This expressway aims to connect the DND Flyway with the KMP Expressway and is expected to significantly reduce travel times once completed by the end of 2024. To manage traffic during the closure, diversions will redirect vehicles from Noida to Ashram via Dalit Prerna Sthal, Chilla Red Light, Akshardham, and Sarai Kale Khan, with additional guidance for traffic from Rajnigandha Underpass and Sector 16. The closure is anticipated to cause considerable congestion in surrounding areas, and the traffic police have advised commuters to plan their journeys accordingly. A dedicated helpline is available for real-time updates and assistance during this period. Despite the short-term disruptions, the project is seen as a critical infrastructure upgrade for improving road connectivity in the region.
