CBS Evening News is undergoing a major overhaul following Norah O'Donnell's departure, with plans to move back to New York and adopt a format similar to '60 Minutes'. The new co-anchors will include veteran journalists John Dickerson and Maurice DuBois, while Margaret Brennan will lead political and foreign affairs coverage from Washington, D.C., and Lonnie Quinn will serve as the chief weathercaster. CBS News CEO Wendy McMahon emphasized the goal of utilizing the strengths of their ensemble of journalists to enhance the broadcast. Notably, the show will no longer have a singular anchor, marking a significant departure from CBS News tradition.
