A grass fire occurred near Table Rock in Boise on Saturday night, starting around 9:19 p.m. and spreading to two acres before firefighters controlled it by 10:06 p.m. The fire, located between Warm Springs, Table Rock, and Windsong Drive, posed no threat to structures, and fortunately, there were no injuries or damages reported. A Code Red alert was issued to nearby residents as a precaution. The Boise Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire, which is reminiscent of a previous incident in June 2016 when a fire was ignited by fireworks in the same area. Firefighters utilized multiple units, including Brush Trucks and a drone, to quickly extinguish the flames.
