Father Completes 24-Hour Ibiza Rave Challenge

Andy Armstrong, a 64-year-old steelworker from Yarm-on-Tees, embarked on a thrilling 24-hour rave in Ibiza, humorously packing only a change of clothes in a Waitrose carrier bag, which he dubbed a 'business class upgrade'. This trip, inspired by a challenge from his colleagues, saw him fly from Newcastle to Ibiza for £62 on August 1, 2023. Upon arriving, he enjoyed a sunset pint at Hotel Abrat before attending an intimate Fatboy Slim gig at Pikes, partying until 3 a.m. With six hours before his return flight, he continued at Eden for more dancing. After a short nap on an airport bench, he caught a £20 flight back to Leeds, completing the entire adventure for under £200. Andy described the experience as 'brilliant', emphasizing the great music and atmosphere throughout his whirlwind trip.
