BJP Forms Committee During Annamalai's Absence
In response to BJP Tamil Nadu President K. Annamalai's absence due to his participation in a three-month educational program at Oxford University, the party has established a six-member coordination committee to manage its activities in Tamil Nadu. The committee, convened by senior leader H. Raja, includes state vice presidents M. Chakravarthy and Prof. K. Kanagasabapathi, as well as state general secretaries M. Muruganandam and Prof. Raama Sreenivasan, and state treasurer S.R. Sekhar. This arrangement aims to ensure continuity in party operations and decision-making during Annamalai's absence, which is expected to last until late November. Each committee member will oversee activities in designated zones across the state, coordinating with the State Core Committee. The decision was announced under the guidance of BJP national president J.P. Nadda, indicating a structured approach to leadership during this transitional period.
