Virginia Lottery Reveals New Year's Day Millionaires

The Virginia Lottery announced its New Year's Millionaire Raffle results, with four $1m prizes and a single $100,000 prize. The million-dollar tickets were purchased in Manassas, Stafford, Fredericksburg, Leesburg, and Arlington, including one in the city. Winners are advised to claim their prizes at a Virginia Lottery customer service centre with appropriate ID and Social Security number proof. All profits from the Virginia Lottery contribute to K-12 education in the state, contributing over $867m, or 10% of the total K-12 school budget, in fiscal year 2023.
