India Reiterates Support for Russia-Ukraine Peace Talks

India has reiterated its stance on the Russia-Ukraine war, expressing readiness to support any feasible and mutually acceptable solution to restore peace, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized that the decision to commence peace talks lies with Russia and Ukraine, and India remains a supportive partner for any peace initiative. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Ukraine, where he met President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, highlighted India's commitment to peace and dialogue. Modi's outreach is seen positively by both Ukraine and Russia, with both nations viewing India as a potential mediator. India remains neutral and aims for constructive engagement with all stakeholders to achieve a negotiated settlement.
