Dengue Fever Surges Across South Asia

Various regions in South Asia are experiencing a significant surge in dengue cases. In Jabalpur, authorities are imposing fines on properties with mosquito larvae to combat the spread. Rawalpindi has seen an increase in cases, with 82 individuals testing positive recently, prompting the deployment of additional health workers. Telangana reported over 6,400 cases by the end of August, with high-risk districts identified. Jaipur also witnessed a rise in dengue cases, with preventive measures being emphasized. Additionally, Ernakulam and Ahmedabad are battling substantial increases in dengue cases, reflecting a broader regional trend of rising vector-borne diseases.
