A Quiet Place: Day One Streams on Paramount+

Paramount+ has announced that 'A Quiet Place: Day One' will begin streaming exclusively on August 27 in the U.S. and Canada, following its successful theatrical release where it grossed over $261 million worldwide. The film, directed by Michael Sarnoski and starring Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn, serves as a prequel exploring the origins of the alien invasion that devastates New York City. Nyong'o plays Samira, a terminally ill patient whose trip to the city turns into a nightmare as she encounters sound-hunting creatures, aided by her cat Frodo and law student Eric. The film has received critical acclaim with an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is noted for setting a franchise record for the largest global opening.
