Legends Completes $2.3B Acquisition of ASM Global

Legends has finalized its $2.3 billion acquisition of ASM Global, following a lengthy review by the U.S. Department of Justice that included a $3.5 million fine for antitrust violations. This merger positions Legends as a leader in the premium live events sector, combining ASM's extensive venue management capabilities with Legends' expertise in hospitality and event services. The deal grants Legends control over approximately 400 venues worldwide, including notable locations like Allegiant Stadium and OVO Arena Wembley, while retaining the ASM Global branding for now. The combined entity is expected to employ around 10,000 full-time staff and aims to enhance venue operations and revenue generation through data-driven solutions. AEG and Onex, the previous owners of ASM Global, expressed their confidence in Legends to drive growth and deliver superior client services. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Legends' evolution since its establishment in 2008 by the owners of the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees.
