The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made significant arrests in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak case, including Surabhi Kumari, a first-year MBBS student from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), and two MBBS students from Bharatpur Medical College, Kumar Manglam Bishnoi and Deepender Sharma. These students were part of a 'solver module' tasked with solving the leaked question papers. The alleged mastermind, Pankaj Kumar, an engineer from NIT Jamshedpur, was also arrested. So far, the CBI has registered six FIRs and detained 21 individuals, including other masterminds and facilitators involved in the operation. The investigation revealed that the paper was stolen from the National Testing Agency (NTA) trunk in Hazaribagh and sold to aspirants. The Supreme Court is currently hearing multiple petitions concerning these irregularities.
