Park Ranger Stabbed in Rittenhouse Square Scuffle
A Philadelphia park ranger was stabbed in the head and near his right eye during a scuffle in Rittenhouse Square on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred at 18th and Walnut Streets around 4:18 p.m., and the ranger was taken to Jefferson Hospital in stable condition. A suspect was apprehended at the scene, and a pair of scissors was recovered as the weapon. This stabbing was one of three incidents in Philadelphia within 12 hours, including two men injured in a deli in Kensington and a woman stabbed in Southwest Philadelphia. The Kensington victims, aged 27 and 63, were taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition, while the woman, aged 41, also remains stable at Temple Hospital. No arrests have been made in the Kensington and Southwest incidents.
