Delay in Forming Parliamentary Committees Concerns TMC

The government and the main opposition party Congress are currently negotiating the distribution of committee chairs, with Congress seeking key positions in finance, defense, and external affairs. Despite the submission of nominations by parties in July, the committees have yet to be formed, causing frustration among MPs who value the extended time for deliberation that these committees provide. The delay has been attributed to unresolved discussions between the government and opposition parties over the allocation of committee chairs.
