BrightDrop's Zevo 400 and 600 vans will be renamed Chevrolet BrightDrop 400 and 600, and continue to be manufactured at GM's CAMI assembly plant in Ontario. Despite initial high expectations, BrightDrop's sales have been underwhelming, prompting this strategic shift. Chevrolet dealers must meet specific requirements to sell and service these electric vans, which is expected to drive volume and support GM's competitive stance against Ford and other rivals in the commercial EV market.
