Proctor, who had recently returned to Alabama from Iowa, was seen with his arm in a sling and did not play in the game. Elijah Pritchett replaced Proctor at left tackle, contributing to Alabama's 63-0 victory. Coach Kalen DeBoer stated that the severity of Proctor's injury would be evaluated further. This injury marks a significant change for Alabama's offensive line, which had been preparing for Proctor's starting role since August. Proctor, a highly regarded five-star recruit, had previously started all 13 games in his freshman season for Alabama.
