Bronx Prosecutor Resigns After Predator Allegations

William C.C. Kemp-Neal, a 30-year-old prosecutor in the Bronx, resigned after being confronted by the vigilante group Dads Against Predators for allegedly attempting to meet a 13-year-old boy he met online. The incident took place on July 8 in a Target parking lot, where Kemp-Neal was filmed fleeing from the group, who accused him of attempting to meet a minor. Video footage shows him struggling to breathe after being restrained by a bystander during the confrontation. Despite the alarming allegations, no arrests were made, and Kemp-Neal has not been charged with any crime as police continue their investigation. Kemp-Neal had worked as an Assistant District Attorney since June 2020, earning nearly $85,000 annually while handling cases involving child endangerment and harassment. The Bronx District Attorney’s office confirmed his resignation following the incident.
