Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, claims that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is planning a raid against him following his 'Chakravyuh' speech on the Union Budget 2024-25. Gandhi's speech, which used a metaphor from the Mahabharata, criticized the BJP government, alleging that six figures, including PM Modi and Amit Shah, have trapped India in a 'Chakravyuh' of unemployment and fear. Gandhi stated on social media that he is 'waiting with open arms' for the ED, even offering chai and biscuits. BJP MPs, including Kangana Ranaut, condemned his remarks, accusing him of using divisive language. Congress MP Manickam Tagore also submitted a motion highlighting the misuse of agencies for political harassment.
