Rising Violence Imperils Rohingya Children in Camps

Rohingya children in Bangladesh are living in fear due to escalating violence and crime in refugee camps, according to Save the Children. Interviews with refugees reveal a pervasive concern about kidnappings, armed group recruitment, and a state of constant anxiety, forcing families to restrict their children from going outside. Almost half of the families surveyed indicated crime as a major concern, with 37% feeling unsafe at night.
