Olympians React to 'Anti-Sex' Beds at Paris Games
Olympic athletes at the 2024 Paris Games have humorously addressed the 'anti-sex' cardboard beds in the Olympic Village, which were initially designed for sustainability and to reduce waste. Despite their reputation, these beds are quite sturdy, able to withstand significant stress, and are not intended to discourage intimacy among athletes. Team USA fencer Miles Chamley-Watson and British diver Tom Daley have both spoken about their comfort and sturdiness. Sex expert Annabelle Knight suggested that athletes can still be intimate on these beds with some positional adjustments. Additionally, the Olympic Village is well-stocked with condoms to promote safe sex, underscoring the reality that sexual activity is a common and expected part of the Games experience.
