Vanta raises money

Vanta, a cybersecurity compliance startup, has raised $150 million in Series C funding, increasing its valuation to $2.45 billion. The funding round, led by Sequoia Capital with participation from Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, brings Vanta's total capital raised since its founding in 2021 to $353 million. The company aims to enhance its global presence and accelerate the development of AI-driven products to simplify compliance with cybersecurity standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Vanta currently serves over 8,000 customers worldwide, including major enterprises like Atlassian and Omni Hotels. CEO Christina Cacioppo emphasized a shift towards continuous security monitoring as businesses increasingly face digital threats, positioning Vanta at the forefront of trust management solutions in a rapidly evolving market.
