Orlando Magic Defeats Minnesota Timberwolves 108-106
The Orlando Magic staged a comeback to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-106 on Friday, thanks to a game-high 23 points from Paolo Banchero. The Magic came back from a 17-point deficit in the second quarter to lead by as many as five points with less than two minutes left in the game. Wendell Carter Jr. added 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs scored 19 and 15 points, respectively. The Timberwolves were let down by their poor fourth-quarter performance, scoring just 18 points in the period. Despite 22 points from Rudy Gobert and Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves committed too many turnovers and took poor shots to take the game. They remain tied for first place in the Western Conference with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
