Five Charged in Matthew Perry Ketamine Death

Five individuals, including Matthew Perry's personal assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, two doctors, and drug dealer Jasveen Sangha, have been charged in connection with Perry's death from a ketamine overdose. Known as the 'Ketamine Queen,' Sangha is accused of selling Perry 50 vials of ketamine for $11,000, while the doctors, Salvador Plasencia and Mark Chavez, illegally supplied the drug despite knowing Perry's addiction history. Plasencia and Chavez face charges of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, with Plasencia also being accused of instructing Iwamasa on ketamine injections. The defendants are alleged to have exploited Perry's addiction for profit, leading to his fatal overdose on October 28, 2023. Sangha and Plasencia have pleaded not guilty, and the investigation has revealed an underground network of ketamine distribution.
