Kottukkaali Set for August 23 Release

Director PS Vinothraj's second film, 'Kottukkaali', starring Soori and Anna Ben, is set for a theatrical release on August 23, 2023. The film, produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions, has already garnered critical acclaim at multiple international film festivals, including the Berlin International Film Festival and the Portugal International Film Festival. 'Kottukkaali' explores themes of misogyny, superstition, and complex human emotions, focusing on a family's ordeal with their daughter Meena's forbidden love. This film marks Anna Ben's debut in Tamil cinema and continues Soori's evolving career as a lead actor.
