Bellingham Gas Station Explosion Injures Four Workers

An explosion at the Sav-More Gas Station in Bellingham, Massachusetts, on Friday evening injured four maintenance workers, two of whom suffered severe burns. The incident occurred around 6:07 p.m. while a contracting company was performing maintenance on one of the gas pumps. Emergency responders transported all injured individuals to the Burn Unit at Rhode Island Hospital for treatment. The Bellingham Police and Fire Departments, along with the Massachusetts State Fire Marshal’s office, are investigating the cause of the explosion.
