Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, urged the people of Haryana to avenge her husband's 'false' imprisonment by supporting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the upcoming Assembly elections. She accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being 'jealous' of her husband’s achievements, which include significant improvements in government schools, hospitals, and the establishment of mohalla clinics in Delhi and Punjab. During her rally in Sampla, Sunita highlighted the poor condition of public services in BJP-ruled Haryana and called for zero seats for the BJP, framing the election as a matter of Haryana's honor. She emphasized the need for transformative governance, citing AAP’s five guarantees for the region, including free electricity and better education. Sunita claimed that her husband’s arrest was a politically motivated attempt to undermine his contributions to public welfare. The Supreme Court has granted Arvind Kejriwal interim bail, but he remains in custody due to a related investigation.
