Brooklyn 'Bully Gang' Leaders Convicted of Crimes

Key leaders of the Bully Gang, a violent crew based in Brooklyn, have been found guilty of various crimes including murder, racketeering, and drug trafficking after a lengthy trial in New York. The gang members engaged in intimidating and shooting their targets, corrupt drug trafficking, and other criminal activities creating fear in the community. Despite convictions, some murder charges remained unresolved. The gang, once comprising 53 members, has seen 49 convictions, with only three defendants awaiting trial and one fugitive. The convicted individuals, like Derrick Ayers and Franklin Gillespie, were involved in murders tied to gang rivalries and drug-related activities spanning multiple states, including smuggling drugs into Rikers Island.
