Zomato CEO Promotes Ticket Sales for Charity Concert

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal has publicly addressed the issue of people requesting free passes for the Zomato Feeding India Concert, featuring global pop star Dua Lipa, scheduled for November 30 in Mumbai. Goyal emphasized the importance of purchasing tickets to support the cause of eradicating malnutrition and hunger in India, noting that over 300,000 people have already registered for ticket notifications. He highlighted that many of those seeking free passes can afford to buy tickets and expressed his decision to ignore such requests. The concert, which will also feature artists like Jonita Gandhi and Talwiinder, aims to mobilize the community towards addressing hunger issues in India. Pre-sale tickets for HSBC cardholders became available on August 27, with prices ranging from Rs 3,500 to Rs 36,000. All proceeds from the event will be directed towards combating malnutrition and hunger in the country.
