UFC Announces Return to Macau on Nov. 23

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to return to Macau for the first time in a decade with a fight night event scheduled for November 23, 2024, at the Galaxy Arena. This marks UFC's fourth event in Macau, following its last appearance in August 2014. Kevin Chang, UFC's senior vice president for Asia, expressed excitement about returning to the city, emphasizing the brand's growth since their last event. Galaxy Macau's Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Kelley, highlighted the event as a prestigious addition to the venue's portfolio of international sports. The Galaxy Arena, which can accommodate 16,000 spectators, is part of Galaxy Macau's ongoing expansion and aims to enhance the region's reputation as a sports destination. UFC's return aligns with its broader strategy to increase its presence in Asia, following successful events in cities like Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen.
