Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Exam Concludes Successfully

The Uttar Pradesh Police conducted its largest recruitment exam in history, with approximately 32 lakh candidates vying for over 60,000 posts. The exams took place over five days at 1,174 centers across 67 districts, concluding on August 31, following rigorous security measures due to previous allegations of paper leaks. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the smooth conduct of the exam and confirmed that more than 15,000 women would be among the recruits. Enhanced security included CCTV monitoring by artificial intelligence, Aadhaar verification for all candidates, and the deployment of over 2,300 magistrates and one lakh police personnel. Additionally, the Uttar Pradesh State Transport Corporation provided free transportation for candidates to facilitate their participation. The government emphasized transparency and integrity throughout the examination process.
