Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha Welcome Daughter Jwala

Bollywood couple Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal welcomed their baby girl on July 16, with close friends from the film industry visiting them shortly after. Senior actress Shabana Azmi disclosed that her husband, Javed Akhtar, suggested the name 'Jwala Ali' for the newborn, inspired by Richa's vibrant personality, although they have chosen a different name. Azmi also highlighted the supportive nature of Ali towards Richa, expressing that he seems entirely focused on their daughter. The visit from actors including Urmila Matondkar and Dia Mirza was part of a larger supportive group called 'Dher Sara Pyaar', which aimed to celebrate the new arrival, though a planned baby shower couldn't take place due to some absences. Richa humorously noted the contrast of her baby's peaceful daytime demeanor with her nighttime cries. The couple, married during the pandemic, expressed their joy in a joint statement announcing the birth of their daughter.
