Dismembered Body Found in Yonkers Shopping Cart

A dismembered and charred body was discovered early Monday morning in a shopping cart under the Oak Street Bridge in Yonkers, near the Mount Vernon border. Authorities believe the victim was killed in a Bronx apartment, transported via Metro-North train, and set on fire in Yonkers. Investigators found additional body parts, a gun, and drugs in a Bronx apartment linked to the case. Surveillance footage shows a suspect pushing a shopping cart onto the train. The victim's identity remains unknown due to the severe burns and dismemberment. The ongoing investigation has been handed over to the NYPD and the Bronx County District Attorney's Office.
