BBC Sport has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, which will take place in England from August 22 to September 27. All matches will be accessible on BBC's linear channels, iPlayer, and the BBC Sport website, alongside live audio commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 Sports Extra. England, ranked number one in the world, has already qualified, while Scotland and Wales will seek to join them through the upcoming WXV tournament. Alex Kay-Jelski, Director of BBC Sport, emphasized the significance of this event for women's sports and the unifying power of international competitions. The tournament will be staged across eight venues, with the final set to occur at Twickenham. Ticket sales for the opening game and final will begin next month.
