Texas AG Probes Nonprofit Voter Registration Fraud

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched a comprehensive investigation into allegations that nonprofit organizations are illegally registering noncitizens to vote in Texas. Undercover operations by the Attorney General's Election Integrity Unit revealed that these organizations were setting up booths outside Texas Department of Public Safety Driver License offices. Paxton emphasized that it is illegal for noncitizens to vote or register to vote, and any such activities will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Paxton's office has also executed multiple search warrants in Bexar, Atascosa, and Frio counties as part of an ongoing investigation into election fraud and vote harvesting linked to the 2022 elections. These efforts underline the state's commitment to ensuring the integrity of every legal vote and prosecuting any election crimes.
