Elderly Man Arrested for Murder in Kingston

A man in his 80s has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman, also in her 80s, at an address in Raeburn Avenue, Tolworth, Kingston. Police were called to the scene around 9.30am on Friday, July 19, where the woman was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead. Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. The arrested man was known to the deceased and remains in police custody while an investigation by the Specialist Crime Command, led by DCI Brian Howie, is ongoing. Police are conducting further enquiries at the scene and have appealed to the public for any information that could assist the investigation.
