China Resubmits Plans for London Embassy

China has resubmitted plans to construct a large embassy on the former Royal Mint site in London, which has previously faced rejection due to security concerns and potential impacts on local residents. The new proposal includes a substantial embassy building, 225 residences, and a cultural center, totaling 600,000 square feet, significantly larger than China's existing embassy. Despite previous setbacks, the Chinese government argues that the reasons for rejection lack merit in planning policy and is pushing for the plans to be reconsidered.
